If a person is renting a home to own from someone, what happens if the home owner needs to go in a home or if some other financial mishap happens to their life? Could a government agency or institution take claim of this property that the renter is renting to own? (for health care or nursing home, law suits etc.) The home owner (landlord) uses this home as his primary residence as well.
